Information

For just the odd ad hoc record, we support iRecord operated by National BRC. This is now SER’s preferred option for online recording

For entry of species lists for a site, SER offers a customised portal

SER is always interested in receiving records providing they include sufficient information (the four ‘W’s):

What– the name of the species
Where  – the location, preferably including the grid reference
Who– the recorder and determiner, if these are different
When– the date of the sighting

However, there is an urgent need for records of the SBAP Priority Species, to facilitate the monitoring of the success of the Biodiversity Action Plan process.

These records can be supplied in a variety of formats:

We are no longer operating our in house recording form, if you wish to make individual records please do so using our iRecord recording form here.
